Recipe: Chocolate Chip Cookies

Dry Ingredients:

  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 1/4 cups of all purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt
  • 2 cups of semisweet chocolate chips

Wet Ingredients:

  • 1 cup of softened butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 egg

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 375ºF.
  2. Mix all of the wet ingredients in  bowl
  3. Mix all of the dry ingredients in a separate bowl
  4. Stir the bowl of dry ingredients into the bowl of wet ingredients
  5. Put in chocolate chips and stir
  6. Measure a table of the cookie dough and place on a cookie sheet
  7. Continue to place the cookie dough (about 2-3 inches apart)
  8. Bake until the cookie turns a light brown color (approx. 10 minutes)
  9. Cool cookies and eat
